Chim↑Pom
Chim↑Pom is a group of artists. Six artists—Ellie, Ushiro Ryuta, Yasutaka Hayashi, Toshinori Mizuno, Masataka Okada and Motomu Inaoka—came together in 2005 to form Chim↑Pom. Their artwork, which represents life and death and works that fully intervene in contemporary society with strong social messages, has received high acclaim. Their artwork has also drawn international attention, which was made evident through their participation in international exhibitions and the receipt of a nomination as the Japanese representative of the Asia Art Award 2010. Throughout 2012, the group mostly presented their works overseas.
アーティスト。2005年、エリイ、卯城竜太、林靖高、水野俊紀、岡田将孝、稲岡求で結成した6人組アート集団。「生と死」をテーマにした作品や、現代社会に全力で介入した社会的メッセージの強い作品で評価を得、国際展への参加、2010年開催「アジア・アート・アワード」で日本代表に選ばれるなど、海外からの注目も高く、2012年は海外での発表が続いている。
